O’Neill – Plainview Senior Running Back and Free Safety: Gage Walton has been named KBRX’s Stadium Sports Top Dog Athletes of the Week!
Gage Walton had an amazing performance during Plainview’s quarterfinal matchup against Dundy County Stratton, running the ball 36 times for 254 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns! He added 2 catches for 30 yards, one of which was an 18-yard touchdown. He made an impact on Special Teams – finishing with 48 yards in kickoff return duty, and added 4 tackles on defense! His 332 all-purpose yards helped the Pirates to a 64-44 road quarterfinal victory over Dundy County Stratton, advancing Plainview to the D1 Football Semifinals!
