Twenty senior students have been selected as University of Nebraska–Lincoln homecoming royalty finalists.
The royalty winners will be elected by the student body in an online vote September 30 and October 1. They will be crowned on Saturday, October 3 at halftime of the Nebraska-Maryland football game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.
One of the candidates is from the KBRX area. Karter Otte, a 2023 graduate of O’Neill High School and the son of Josh & Shannon Stelling of Orchard and Kirk Otte, is a King candidate. Karter is majoring in AgriBusiness.
