Adryna Braun, a member of the West Holt FCCLA Chapter is doing a Star Project event this holiday season to try and help make Christmas a little merrier for some people.
The event is called, Santa’s Little Givers, and will be held at the Atkinson Senior Center on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This is the same day when Santa visits the library in Atkinson, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Santa’s Little Givers is a pop-up shopping experience for children to receive help selecting and wrapping gifts for their parents or loved ones. To make this possible Adryna is looking for donations of new items to make the event successful. Items like hand soaps, lotions, earrings, decor, coffee cups or mugs, candles, baseball caps, and anything that would make a nice gift for an adult.
Donations are being taken through December 7, 2025, and may be left at Braun’s Food Center in Atkinson. If you have VENMO you can donate to @SANTAS-LITTLEGIVERS.
