O’NEILL – The 2025 O’Neill Blue Dolphins swim team season is already in the books!
The O’Neill Blue Dolphins competed in Platte, SD at the James River Valley League Championship Meet July 16-17th. The swimmers made a strong showing together making it to the podium as a team receiving the Average Points Overall by Team award based on the number of athletes and points earned. This was a huge accomplishment for the team!
Individual awards went to Nory Jackson 1st in the Girls 8 & under, Cooper Cole 1st in the Boys 15-16, Zuri Moore 2nd in the Girls 17-18, Kyle Stearns 2nd and James Grenier 3rd in the Boys 17-18, and Ian Yates 1st in the Boys Open.
The 23 athletes representing O’Neill were Kaleb Asche, Cooper and Olivia Cole, Tenley Cure, Lincoln Dannenbring, James Grenier, Samiya Hammerlun, Marley, Ruby & Nory Jackson, Kayra & Kloe Kopecky, Remi & Talon Kurtz, Zuri Moore, Ella Rasmussen, Lettie Rowse, Anthony Schmeichel, Dax Sickels, Hazel & Kyle Stearns, Dorie & Ian Yates.
Leading the team this year has been Bethany Owens who has done an amazing job working with the athletes this season.
