The Neitzke-Metschke Memorial Battle of Pep Bands will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 7:00 pm at the Elkhorn Valley School in Tilden.
Bands that have been invited this year are Chambers, Elkhorn Valley, Neligh-Oakdale, Niobrara, Plainview and Pender.
The competition includes four rounds of playing along with these contests: Highest Trumpet Note, Best Trombone Car Rev and Best Drumline.
This event is open to the public.
