At approximately 1900 on Sunday May 10th, 2020, Holly Shane of Atkinson, NE. was westbound in the parking lot of Southside Mini Mart attempting to park. Shane was driving a 2014 Mercedes Benz Sport Utility vehicle. As Shane was attempting to park on the east side of the building, the vehicle she was driving jumped the curb and entered into the business through the east wall. Patrons were in the building at the time the Mercedes came through the east wall. No injuries were reported. The Mercedes received minor damage. Southside Mini Mart received substantial damage to the building. The vehicle was driven away and a contractor was on scene to secure the building.
