The Holt County Sheriff’s Office has released the following accident news release:

Persons Involved:
Vehicle 1, 2002 Chevy Silverado K1500 owned by Circle BK Farm & Ranch LLC, driven by James G. Buis, age 66, of Atkinson.
Vehicle 2, 2014 Chevy Equinox owned by Rebecca and Tommy Davidson, driven by Rebecca Davidson, age 47, of O’Neill.
Location of Accident: US Highway 20, near Harrison Street in O’Neill, NE
Details: Vehicle 1 was west bound on US Highway, 20 also know as Douglas Street, near the west edge of O’Neill. Vehicle 2 was driving south out of the Pump & Pantry parking lot and turning left onto Douglas Street as Vehicle 1 was in the southern, west bound lane and obscured by another vehicle in the northern, west bound lane. The collision occurred because Vehicle 2 did not see Vehicle 1 and drove into the path of Vehicle 1. No people in Vehicle 1 sustained injuries. Vehicle 2 had one injured occupant transported to Avera St. Anthony’s by O’Neill Fire & Rescue. O’Neill Fire and Rescue also provided traffic control and clean up. Vehicle 1 sustained and estimated $1,000 damage. Vehicle 2 sustained an estimated $6,000 damage and was towed by A&J Towing.
