Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th is a day that some of us love and others love to hate. It’s National Boss’s Day, and we employees might as well show our bosses some love. Whether it’s someone you’ve worked for for years, you, or your wife, here are the top 5 ways to celebrate National Boss’s Day.

5. Make a cake

No explanation needed. You will win with everyone.

4. Bring them coffee

Who doesn’t love coffee?! There’s nothing better than walking to your desk and seeing your favorite drink. If your boss doesn’t like coffee, there are plenty of other drink options to choose from. Just a hint, nothing pairs better with coffee than a scone.

3. Give them a card

A card is a keepsake that will keep them smiling and remembering their favorite employee time and time again. If you’re one with words, a card is a great way to show appreciation without the awkward verbal exchange. The funnier the better.

2. Do something extra for them

I’m no one’s boss (okay, well maybe Austin’s), but I sure do love when someone makes my copies! It doesn’t have to be much, rather just enough to alleviate some work. Other examples include, but are not limited to: restarting the coffee pot, fielding THE phone call, or handling THAT customer.

1. Say thank you!

Just thank them! Everyone loves some appreciation being thrown their way, and it’s no doubt your boss will appreciate your appreciation (wow, I’m one with the words tonight).

Happy National Boss’s Day! Let us know what you did to celebrate (just don’t tell Poese).
