Moby is canceling his book tour, this after apologizing to Natalie Portman regarding his new memoir, “Then It Fell Apart.” He wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m going to go away for awhile. But before I do I want to apologize again, and to say clearly that all of this has been my own fault.”

The musician was slammed for remarks he made about Portman in his book. In it, Moby claimed Portman flirted with him in his dressing room when he was 33 and she was 20 and said he tried to date the actress in the early 2000s. Portman, who is now 37, denied it all in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and said she had just turned 18 when the two met, saying: “I was surprised to hear that he characterized the very short time that I knew him as dating because my recollection is a much older man being creepy with me when I just had graduated high school.” Moby initially hit back, saying he wasn’t a liar and had photographic evidence to back up his story. However, he later posted an apology to Portman on his Instagram account.

According to his official site, Moby has now canceled the UK portion of his book tour. “Moby canceling all upcoming public appearances for the foreseeable future,” a notice on his site reads. “We (apologize) for any inconvenience this may cause. All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase, and Moby is happy to provide signed bookplates to everyone who bought tickets to these events.”
