In the sprints, Corbin Dean and Trevor Dempster made finals in the 100 and 200 meter dash with Dean earning a 6th place finish in both. Vaulting, Corbin Dean had a personal best of 12 feet winning the vault and Caden Moore with a vault of 8’ 6” gave him 6th.

“Less than ideal conditions with snow and strong winds, I felt the team performed well. Really like to see our team score on average nine points per event. We had some things that went well and other things that can be improved on. We have a well balanced team with every event having three strong athletes in them. All we need to improve a little every week,” said Coach Hilker.

Next week the O’Neill Eagles will compete at the Aurora Invitational, at Aurora. Field events starting at 10:00 am and running events at 12:30.
