The U.S. Small Business Administration recently recognized Great Western Bank as a top lender in the state of Nebraska for Fiscal Year 2012.
Great Western Bank approved 24 SBA guaranteed loans worth over $14.2 million to small businesses in Nebraska. With 68 branch locations in Nebraska and deposits in excess of $2.5 billion, Great Western Bank is the 6th largest financial institution in the state.

Overall in Nebraska, the SBA guaranteed 368 loans for $105.6 million during Fiscal Year 2012, which ended September 30, 2012.
