The Village of Orchard has rescheduled the Dog/Shot clinic for Saturday, May 30th from 9 to 12 to be held at the Orchard Fire Hall. Cost of rabies shot is $18. Distemper and deworming shots will be available upon request at an additional charge. Individuals that live inside the Village limits will be required to license all pets at that time. Non-altered pet licensing is $10 and altered pet licensing is $5.

The O'Neill Eagles Club 40th Anniversary Open House will be held Sunday, May 31st from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Club in downtown O'Neill. The public is welcome to come and help them celebrate.

The first summer Boots & Saddle Club horse show will be held Sunday, May 31st at Carney Park in south O'Neill. Starting with registration at 9:30 and the show beginning at 10 a.m. There will be halter classes, lead line, Pleasure, Ball n Barrel, ribbon race, western riding, poles and barrels.
Butte Q125 Community Picnic will be held Sunday, May 31st at 4 p.m. Be at the ballfield at 4 p.m. sharp so you don't miss the Prize Drop Flyover. After the prize drop you go to the Butte City Park for a Potluck Supper and Games. The Butte Community Club will be grilling hot dogs, bring your favorite casserole, salad or dessert and the drinks and tableware will be provided

Vacation Bible School, June 3rd through the 5th
Christ Lutheran Church and First Presbyterian will be hosting a Vacation Bible school on June 3rd-5th. The Vacation Bible school will be held at Christ Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m- 12:00 p.m for children ages preschool- 6th grade. You may pick up a registration form at either church starting May 12th or register the morning of June 3rd. Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska is holding a donation drive in O'Neill beginning at noon on Monday, June 8th through Monday, June 15th from 8 to 5 p.m. each day unless the trailer becomes full before then. The donation trailer will be parked at the Shopko parking lot in O'Neill. No large appliances or furniture and tax donation slips will be available at the trailer.
MONDAY, JUNE 8TH
The 2015 10-11 Can Care-A-Van will again be stopping in O'Neill on Monday, June 8th. All monetary donations and food donations raised in O'Neill that day will go to the Central Nebraska Community Services Food Pantry. The Casey's parking lot will again be the collection point. There will be a tent set up and feel free to bring food or monetary donations to the site. Each $1 donated equals 2 pounds of food! Again this will be at the Casey's parking lot Monday, June 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Stuart American Legion invites you to visit the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall in the City Park from Thursday, June 18th through Monday, June 22nd. Access is 24 hours per day with a special program on Saturday, June 20th. at 2 p.m.
SATURDAY JUNE 27TH
The 2nd Annual Redneck Romp Adventure Race will be held at the Marcellus Ranch in Atkinson on Saturday, June 27th. The course will feature 17 "redneck" obstacles and lots of mud! Atkinson Head Start 2015/2016 School Year
The Atkinson Head Start Center is taking applications for the 2015/2016 school year. Clients must bring copy of income verification documents (most current income tax form, or a year's worth of paycheck stubs etc.) to attach to the completed application form. Children must be 3-4 years old to be eligible. Children with disabilities are also encouraged to apply. It is not necessary for children to be present for the application process. Your cooperation in coming to the Head Start Center to put in your application will be appreciated.
