St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Amelia

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Amelia will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary on Sunday, June 23, 2019.  Mass will be held at 3 pm.  There will be a social hour at the Chambers Community Center at 4:30 p.m. with dinner being served at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets for the dinner are $10 and can be purchased online at http://www.stpatsoneill.org then click on the tab for St. Josephs and then a pinkish box will come and you just fill in the box and pay online or by calling Vicki Tomjack at 402-336-8535 or St. Patrick’s Parish Center at 402-336-1602.  Archbishop George Lucas will be here from Omaha to celebrate the mass.  There is limited parking at the church so there will be a shuttle bus that will pick people up at the Chambers Community Center to talk them to the church and then return them to the Community Center.  We really encourage everyone to use the shuttle services.  There will be t-shirts and memorabilia for sale at the Community Center that day.  Also a memory book is being put together that can be ordered the day of the celebration.
