Kansas City Potato Soup

Ingredients
6-8 med. potatoes, diced
1 C. celery, diced
1 med. onion, diced
water
1 stick margarine (optional)
1 can evaporated milk
1 C. ham
6 slices cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Add celery, onion and potatoes to a pot. Cover with water and boil until done. Do not drain. Add margarine, evaporated milk, ham, cheese, salt and pepper. Stir and let simmer until done.
