3rd Annual Shamrock Shootout Birddog Challenge Winds Up St. Patrick’s Weekend In O’Neill

C Bar Outfitter’s hosted its 3rd annual Shamrock Shootout Birddog Challenge this past Sunday at the O’Neill Gun Club.  Dogs and Handlers from around the area totaled over 30 competitive runs and won over $1,600 in prize money in the three different divisions, Single Pointers, Single Flushers, and Doubles.  First place in the single pointing division was Tyler Carson of Lynch and his dog, Kate, second place went to Rick Lutt of Dallas, SD, and his dog, Casper, and third place went to Steve Dennis of O’Neill and Joe Simon’s dog, Cali.  First place in the Single Flushing division was Daniel Krugman of O’Neill and his dog, Wilson, second place went to Rick Lutt of Dallas, SD and his dog, Willy, and third place went to Jared Finnegan of Lynch and his dog, Hooli.  In the Doubles division, first place went to Rick Lutt and Ron Grenz with Rick’s dog, Casper, second place went to Daniel Krugman and Steve Nelson with Daniel’s dog, Wilson, and third place went to Daniel Krugman and Tyler Carson with Daniel’s dog, Porter.
